The second annual Patriot Day Career Fair will be held at the Junction City Municipal Building on Sept. 11. The career fair is open to the public, with a special focus on veterans, transitioning soldiers and their families. More than 40 employers will attend the job fair and conduct interviews. A mobile Workforce Center will be available for all patrons to use during the event for services such as applying for positions online and printing résumés.
“Those who serve in our military make many sacrifices for our country, and we owe them our support and gratitude for their service,” said Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George. “The Patriot Day Career Fair is a tremendous opportunity to help veterans and their family members find good jobs. That benefits veterans, the Kansas workforce and our state’s economy.”
