Lieutenant Governor Jeff Colyer will tour the Wichita headquarters of Lee Aerospace on November 20. Lee Aerospace won the 2017 Kansas Governor’s Exporter of the Year Award, which is presented to a single Kansas business each year for excellence in international trade and marketing. Following the tour, state officials and company leaders will make remarks.
WHO/WHAT: Lieutenant Governor Colyer will join Lee Aerospace President Jim Lee, Kansas International Trade Coordinating Council Chairman Dr. Melissa Birch, and company leadership for a tour of Lee Aerospace and an awards presentation.
Lee Aerospace engineers OEM and aftermarket aircraft windows and windshields for the most respected aircraft manufacturers in the industry, including Hawker Beechcraft, Cessna, Bombardier Learjet, and more. The company also assembles small and large-scale aero-structures as well as designs, engineers and manufactures aircraft composite parts and tooling.
WHEN/WHERE: The tour of the facility will begin at 10:00 am on Monday, Nov. 20th. The awards presentation will start at 11:00 am.
