Redwood Technology Solutions expands in Overland Park

Redwood Technology Solutions will expand operations to 6811 Shawnee Mission Parkway in Overland Park, where the company plans to add nearly 40 employees over the next five years. The company is a leading technology solutions provider of network management, business continuity and IT consulting.

“Redwood will undergo substantial job growth as it continues to provide technical and Internet support services to small- and medium-sized companies,” said Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George. “Working in the IT infrastructure sector is definitely a growth area, and I look forward to
Redwood’s continued success.”

“Redwood is excited about the future growth of the company and the ability to work with the Overland Park Economic Development Council and the state of Kansas,” Redwood President Mike Jackson said. “Overland Park provides an excellent work environment for our growing business.”

“Overland Park is becoming known as the home of technology innovators and job creators,” expressed Carl Gerlach, Mayor of Overland Park. “Redwood Technology Solutions plans to grow its business of helping small and medium size companies with technology management. We are pleased Redwood Technology will have access to our educated and reliable work force to help it grow and prosper. We welcome Redwood’s business spirit and successful endeavors.”

Jackson, who acquired the company in 2011, said attracting the highest level of talent in sales, business and technology is a significant focus for his growing company. Jackson said the key to keeping and attracting quality talent was with a competitive salary and benefits program.

“Fostering a business culture that encourages each employee to have a voice and actively participate in the strategy and growth of the business is at the core of Redwood’s success,” Jackson said.
