The nomination deadline for the 2010 Kansas Business Appreciation Month program has past. The award winners will be announced early June. The finalists will be invited to the Kansas Cavalry Encampment event on June 29, where Governor Mark Parkinson will name one of them the winner of the Governor’s Award of Excellence.

NOTE: Business Appreciation Month is an important part of our effort to recognize the contribution of Kansas companies to our state. This year, budget limitations will not allow Commerce to conduct regional ceremonies as we have in the past, but companies will still be recognized for their contribution.
