HPIP Wage Standards

Companies may select to wage-qualify a worksite using either their three-digit or four-digit NAICS code. Wage standards based on three-digit codes are divided into six county-groups and six metro counties. Wage standards based on the four-digit NAICS code are divided into two county-regions and the six metro counties. Once the selection is made, it is final and cannot be changed for the duration of that project.

Alternative Wage Standard
Another option is to wage-qualify using one-and-a-half times the state average wage as the standard. For this option to be available, the wage information and headcount of all owners with a 5 percent or greater equity stake must be eliminated from all internal company wage calculations. This alternative wage standard is provided for each separate measurement period below.
