International Agriculture Marketing Programs

This program promotes Kansas agricultural products at the global level by conducting trade missions to target countries and by coordinating itineraries for foreign buying teams. It also serves as a valuable information source, by maintaining computer access to the U.S. Department of Agriculture databases and foreign market analysis data. Staff can also assist with the technical information involved with exporting and export requirements.

To assist companies that may be new to the export market, Kansas is a member of the Food Export Association of the Midwest USA. A federally funded program, the Food Export Association offers a broad range of comprehensive services to facilitate the process of international marketing. They are designed to assist companies with the entire exporting process from learning the fundamentals of exporting to identifying overseas opportunities and potential distributors. They can also help fund international marketing campaigns and promote products overseas. Programs are also available to help determine top markets for a company's products.
