Workforce Centers:
An array of services is available at no cost to assist job seekers in finding the
right job. At each workforce center job seekers have access to a pool of job openings
and related services.

Job Search Assistance:
Job Seekers can receive assistance from professional staff in managing their job
search.
Services available include:
- Job, career, and skill assessment tools and services;
- Career, job and labor market information;
- Resume writing software and support materials;
- Directories of human service agencies and employers;
- Access to local, regional and global labor markets through KANSASWORKS.com and other resources.
Based on eligibility, some job seekers may have access to an expanded scope of services and training.

Veteran Services:
One of the best sources for skilled employees is the pool of veterans who are working
with veterans representatives at workforce centers. We know veterans have learned
a variety of skills while serving our country and are ready to work, so we help
those veterans find the right companies and the right jobs. If you are a veteran
looking for work, visit your
local workforce center
and talk with the Local Veterans Employment Representative (LVER) or Disabled Veteran
Outreach Program Specialist (DVOP).

KANSASWORKS.com from the convenience of your own computer. While there, build
an on-line resume, research career information, register with Job Service, or sign
up to receive e-mails on new job openings.
Other Assistance:
The Kansas Department of Commerce and its partners administer a variety of programs designed to assist individuals in different targeted groups. These initiatives may also be valuable resources for employers interested in filling certain positions. The programs utilize tax credits, training, work experience, and other tools to assist job candidates find the right job.
