The Office of Minority and Women Business Development is accepting nominations for Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week, the State’s annual celebration of women- and minority-owned businesses in Kansas.
Nominations are being accepted in the following three categories:
Advocate Award
This award goes to an individual who has supported minority or women entrepreneurs.

This award goes to one outstanding Kansas business for overall business and civic achievement.

Young Entrepreneur Award
This award goes to one outstanding minority or woman business owner age 25 or under.

Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on July 17. Late nominations will not be accepted.
Winners will be honored at the annual MED Week awards luncheon Oct. 15 in Topeka at the Ramada Inn.
