Attractions and Recreation

Antelope Lake, on the State Historical list, was built by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in the 1930s and features several native stone structures. The 80-acre lake features recreation and fishing, with boat ramps, camping and picnic areas. For the hunter, Graham county offers many choices. Seven Two Bar Ranch offers guided upland game, turkey and deer hunting and amenities. Click here to find out more information about hunting in Graham county. Hill City is the home of Prairie Trails Golf Course, a nine-hole, grass green course.   

Nicodemus National Historic Site and Nicodeumus Livery Company preserves, protects and interprets the only remaining western town established by African Americans during the Reconstruction Period following the Civil War. The Nicodemus Livery Company provides tours, programs and camps. Graham County Historical Society Museum includes a military room, vintage clothing exhibit, quilts, photos of early-day-Graham County and a number of items donated or loaned to Graham County Historical Society by private individuals.
