Attractions and Recreation

Lincoln County has several attractions. For those interested in museums, the Post Rock Scout Museum houses exhibits featuring scouting organizations, such as: Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Pioneer Girls and Campfire Girls as well as other youth organizations. Crispin’s Drug Store Museum is dedicated to the history of pharmacies, in particular from the 1880-1920 period.         

Kyne House Museum is an old limestone house built in 1885 depicting how people lived in that era. Lincoln Art Center, founded in 1993, host exhibitions by local, state and regional artists. They also offer art classes and have a gift gallery where art is available for purchase.
       
For the outdoor enthusiast, Lincoln county offers many options. Wilson State Lake and Wilson State Park offer fishing, boating, wildlife watching, biking, hiking and swimming. Campsites as well as cabins are available for rent. Lincoln Golf Course is a nine-hole public golf course located in Lincoln. Smoky Hills Wind Farm is the largest wind farm in Kansas. And for the avid hunter, several hunting lodges are located within the county.
