Wichita County is home to the Museum of the Great Plains. This museum hosts many historical artifacts about the old West including information about the Wichita County, County Seat Fight between Coronado and Leoti, and a replica of a walk through downtown Leoti in the 1800s.

Wichita County Municipal Golf Course is a beautiful nine-hole course located just east of the city of Leoti. There are also an abundance of city parks that offer swimming pools, tennis courts, and walking trails. Wichita County also offers great pheasant and deer hunting.

The Wichita County Fair and Carnival occurs every July offering fun for the whole family for only 25 cents a ride. Home to a home-owned and operated carnival, the Wichita County Fair brings in thousands of people every year.
